What is mobile generation?
In every mobile generation the 'G' stands for generation and it shows that how fast is the mobile network is.It also helps to communicate with different people in all over the world and also helps to use the technology in different purpose.In 1980s to till today different mobile generations can be seen in all over the world which shows that in technology field people are developing day by day.Basically these mobile generation helps in communication or in different purpose through wirelessly so it is popular in all over the world.
Types of mobile generations:
Basically there are 5 different types of mobile generation.They are:
- 1G (First Generation)
- 2G, 2.5G, 2.75G (Second Generation)
- 3G, 3.5G, 3.75G (Third Generation)
- 4G, 4G LTE, 4G LTE-A (Fourth Generation)
- 5G (Fifth Generation)
These are the four different types of mobile generation till 2020 but in coming year 2021 hope the fastest mobile generation 5G (Fifth Generation) will introduce.
History of mobile generation:
We all know that with the increasing of new technology mobile generations also increases.The first mobile generation was introduced in 1980s and these 1G network uses analog signal to communicate with peoples.Through 1G we can only talk on mobiles but we cannot send sms through 1G network.These network based on basic voice service and analog based protocol.Then in 1990s the second generation of mobile 2G was introduced.In 2G network you can send sms to the people and basically the use of internet was increased when 2G is launched.The speed of 2G was nearly 64kb per sec which is very slow compared to today's 4G network. 2G was designed for voice and sms and digital standards are used are GSM/CDMA.
Then after some years the 2.75G was introduced which was quit faster then 2G network and it's speed was nearly 128kb per sec. Online platforms like you tube was not popular till 2.75G because internet speed was slow and data was quit expensive.Then in 2001 third generation 3G was introduced which is very faster i.e it's speed was up to 2000 kb per sec and specially designed for voice,sms,video streaming in you tube or in other online platform.Through 3G network you can video calls with any people in all over the world with the wide use of 3G network you tube is very popular in nowadays. The technology used in 3G was W-CDMA.
Later in 2009 TeliaSonera was the first company to introduce Fourth generation 4G network and later in sever years 4G network is spread in all over the world.These all network generation helps to enable the highest network speed in your mobile phones to use internet speed faster than before.The technology used in 4G was OFDMA. 4G is also called as LTE (Long Term Evaluation).It is specially designed for data transmission and based on IP protocols.The speed of 4G was up to 60 MB per sec.
We all know that in our mobile network the symbol G was shown which is 2.5G and sometimes E symbol is shown which is 2.75G and also called as Edge and sometimes H+ is shown which is 3G network.
Difference between 4G and 5G networks:
There are various difference between 4G and 5G networks.As we know 5G is the fifth generation and it is widely said to be more faster,more efficient,more smarter than 4G. It's speed is up to 100 gigabits per second which is 10 times faster than 4G. Now you can imagine the speed and reliability of 5G network. 5G network use the technology as spectrum band,milliliter waves,radio spectrum to carry the large no of data in shorter distance,where 4G network uses OFDMA as a technology to transmit data's. Through this mobile generation today we are connected to the internet to gain knowledge about different things.Though there are less difference between 4G and 5G these makes human life more easier,faster and comfortable.
Future of 5G network:
We all know that the speed of 5G network is very fast so they can be used in AI(Artificial Intelligence) so that it is very easy to use. 5G has the next generation of wireless communication and use millimeter wave,radio spectrum to transmit large amount of data.
The main questions asked in the internet about 5G was:
- Will 5G cause cancer?
- Will 5G replace WiFi?
- Is 5G dangerous to health?
- Will 5G kill cable?
- Is 5G faster than WiFi?
- Is LTE better than 5G? and many more.
We all know than 5G uses the next generation technology to transmit data wirelessly through which radiations came but these radiations are not similar to the harmful radiations coming from sun or other scientific rays in the space or in science lab.At some place 5G is dangerous because it uses the millimeter wave radiations which break the chemical bonding of human body. 5G is the wireless communication medium so there is the chance of replacing cable. 5G will never replace WiFi but it is faster than WiFi. Many smartphones companies are started to launch the 5G processors in their smartphones so that we can say 5G is near.
At last:
Today's mobile users want faster data speeds and more reliable service.The next generation of wireless network 5G promise to deliver that,and much more.With 5G user should able to download high definition film in under second which take 10-15 minutes in 4G LTE and wireless engineer say these network will boost the development of other new technologies too such as automobile vehicles,virtual reality and the internet of things.
If all goes right and well,many telecommunication companies will launch 5G network in early 2020s. As the number of mobile users and their demands for data rises,5G must handle far more traffic at much higher speeds than the base stations that make up today's cellular networks.
